There are essentially two methods of decaffeinating tea. The vast majority of decaf teas are produced utilizing chemical processes that not only affect the taste of the tea but can be unhealthy as well. The other way is an all natural CO2 high pressure process that gently removes the caffeine without any harmful additives or alterations to the tea. We source teas that use the natural CO2 process. All herbal teas in this category are naturally decaffeinated.
